Overview
These work in a similar way to a refrigerator but in reverse. A heat exchanger is used to extract energy and to heat water , which is delivered to a cylinder or wet heating system.
Air to water source heat pumps work much more efficiently at a lower temperature than a standard boiler system. Therefore they are more suitable for under-floor heating and larger radiators, which give out heat at lower temperatures over longer periods of time.
