Acoustic Testing

Acoustic testing is a requirement prior to building completion in order to ensure the sound insulation meets or exceeds Building Regulations Part E. To make this process easier, Greenworks has incorporated this testing within the FSAP bundle, offering expert compliance consultancy from Stroma’s acoustic division, who has over 20 years experience in the field.

The building acoustics testing service includes:

Acoustic Consultancy

Engaged at project outset, we provide design reviews or workshops, liaising closely with the artchitect or design team to ensure that compliance criteria are established, and improvement strategies identified where necessary from the start.

Preliminary Testing

Preliminary on-site testing to ensure that a development is on target to meet the required specification.

Pre-application Site Assessments

Pre-application measurements and site assessments under NPPF and BS4142, liaising with architects, local planning and environmental health officers.

Final Testing

Final testing to satisfy the relevant legislation. The engineers are dispersed nationwide, ensuring lead times are kept to a minimum. An expedited report service is also on offer, reducing the risk of handover delays.
